Mornings start in our breakfast room, where a free continental breakfast is set out beside the fireplace. On sunny afternoons the patio is the place to sit back and plan the next day.
From the front door it is a short walk to the shoreline and the recreation trail along the bay, and to the cafes and shops of downtown Pacific Grove.

On Lighthouse Avenue, near the bay
The inn is on Lighthouse Avenue at the northern tip of the Monterey Peninsula. The shoreline, with its tide pools and the paved recreation trail along Ocean View Boulevard, is a few blocks away, and downtown Pacific Grove is about a mile east.
The Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row are about five minutes by car. 17-Mile Drive, Pebble Beach and Carmel-by-the-Sea are all within about 15 minutes.

Good to know before you book
What time are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out can often be arranged with the front desk. Check-out until noon is free if you ask in advance and it is available.
Is breakfast included?
Yes. A free continental breakfast is served each morning in our breakfast room.
Is parking free?
Yes. Parking on site is free for guests.
Do the rooms have air conditioning?
No. The rooms have ceiling fans and electric heaters. Pacific Grove's ocean air keeps it cool most of the year.
Do the rooms have bathtubs?
No. Every bathroom has a shower, and there are no bathtubs at the inn.
Is there an elevator?
No. The inn has two floors. If you would like a room without stairs, book a Double Queen, which is on the ground floor, or tell us when you book and we will do our best to arrange one.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not permitted. Service animals are always welcome.
Can I cancel my reservation?
Yes. Standard reservations can be cancelled for a full refund until 3:00 PM, 72 hours before your arrival date, unless your confirmation says otherwise. Special rates, packages and events can have different terms.
